I turned on the radio to listen to the Cal pregame show and was disappointed to hear a few minutes of what sounded like the Art Bell show with a few nuts arguing over Federal Reserve conspiracy theories and goobers asking Brinker to tell them if their CDs over or under $100,000 were insured by the FDIC. IQ level of the average caller seems to have dropped below body temperature. Do you think all the "Cassandra Bears" he was berating when the market was at 1400 not long ago are now jamming the switchboards demanding he accept they were right?

I would expect someone still bullish like Brinker who was bullish and advising 100% of a portfolio to be in equities when the market was at 1565 to be telling his listeners to "hang in there" with the market now in the low 1200s.

Given I didn't hear any of that before the CAL pregame, I sure hope he isn't thinking of selling near the bottom of the bear market like he did in 1988 when he sold and went to 100% cash at a similar decline off the peak before the market recovered.

CAL won 66 to 3, GO BEARS!
