America is the most productive country in the world. So we make the best use of energy. If we produce more our selves we will need to trade away less wealth for any we cannot produce ourselves.

What has been proposed currently by McCain Palin makes the most sense for reducing what we will need to trade away for energy supplies we cannot produce ourselves.

That is a true analysis of America's energy reality. the NYT is providing one more example of why the NYT is losing money and market share. The NYT editorial board collectively suffer from a severe mental defect in the comprehension of science and technology and economics.
