The bottom line with Palin is whether one would want her to be president on February 1 after McCain is inaugurated and suffers a sudden debilitating stroke. If someone can't answer that with 100% confidence, then there is a gaping question mark on that side of the ballot. There is, indeed. I don't question that. I'm only questioning whether the risk is great enough to make it, in and of itself, a deal killer.
