Owning FNM/FRE common stock last week was like having money in IndyMac Bank the day they closed the doors. How much evidence do you need that your assets might be at risk?

I wouldn't be surprised if your ex does still have it. I had dinner last weekend with an old friend who is very smart and did very well in the foreign service but only looks at her stock portfolio every few months, and hadn't noticed a couple of takeovers and other big changes.
