If the deity can't show him or herself, and actually make the case, I subsume the caveats expressed by humans regarding the invisible deity as "likes and dislikes". You keep making abortion a solely religious issue. I suppose this is logical since the most vocal groups are the evangelicals, but one does not have to be a religious to come out opposed to abortion. Increasing numbers of docs and nurses are refusing to participate in the procedure when they sign their contracts based on sonograms and viability of life occuring at ever shortening gestational periods.
