I gather then you didn't catch the odd sentence construction you used in that original post.

It seems OK to me.

I'm concerned about massive future spending obligations, which we will almost certainly incur with Obama/D Congress.

If I were only concerned about my own short-term comfort, I would quit agonizing and vote for Obama.

But I care about posterity/humanity/the promise of the great American experiment too much to be a party to its likely undoing.

I'm pretty sure that's what I said the first time.

As for disabusing me of this, the only way would be to persuade me that it's OK to live in the selfish now or that Obama etc won't likely create topsy.
