While Jean takes personal offense to your post, I take offense on a different level.

Off topic posts add something to a stock's SI thread. You get to know something about the people posting their facts/opinions on a company. You get a sense of where they are coming from.

I have a diverse mix of stocks. Many are very underfollowed by SI posters. I watched my stake in OSTE (now closed) go from $12 to $20 with almost the only posts being added to the thread were from me.

If the IDX thread has a sense of community, so be it. Personally, I prefer it that way.
