I grew up in a "Red State" area. I had to get the hell out as soon as I was 18 and I never looked back. I've seen the Sarah Palin types. Oh boy.

The income disparity in this country isn't only occurring in urban areas, but it's also quite prevalent between Red State/Blue State.

The irony as you point out is that Blue States are enormously helped by Republican policies.

I suppose that after a certain income level, you want to see social progression.
