Part of the problem is that I'm not going to have a way to know if this was just a gaffe or if she really doesn't know much about FNM. If she was able to take questions from us, the American public, the people who she could one day lead, then perhaps I'd get a better picture of her knowledge of basic economic policy. It looks pretty likely that the next 2 months will be carefully scripted and chances for spontaneous interaction with us, the voters, the people she would serve, is going to be curtailed. And perhaps I see why.
