Yes, I see what you mean. But, there is a lot of science behind the origins of our universe, as we observe it, as well as evolution.

That's why they don't (and shouldn't) teach anything in science classes about possibilities before the Big Bang - because there is no credible science. Whether the Big Bang was the true origin of stuff is indeed conjecture.

So, it is right and appropriate to teach the Big Bang and creationism, potentially with the observation that we don't know what or if anything happened before the Big Bang. Hence, no teaching of the 'Lighting of the Big Bang Firecracker'.
