Al Gore unified the country when he graciously conceded after the bogus SCOPUS decision. Many advisors told him he could fight on - and with all the irregularities, possibly win - but he put aside his ambition and put the country first, averting a possible constitutional crisis. Country first. McCain's now comical slogan, after his complete flipflopping on issues and pandering to the right, and his ridiculous choice of a completely unprepared VP. He should change his slogan to 'Me First' - much more apt.
