Insightful article. FWIW, I think it has got to be the Japanese,
but I don't know if they have the guts to try given their
current situation. I think that the costs associated with the
switch is the price of leadership. Unfortunately, as an INTC
investor, I believe they are a little less hungry than they
were a few years back, and I don't expect them to step up
to the new role. I wish they would. The Japanese seem the
group most in need of showing leadership, and they have shown
flashes in the past of the long term kinds of think that makes
one step up to the plate. I think Motorola is too worried about
cell phones and satellites.

Having said all of that, I don't think am willing to alter my
investing strategies to take advantage of it (even if i did know
how).

Regards,
J
