I can see that socio-cultural issues are being driven to the fore and that it is because Sarah (the phenomenon) stepped into the picture. If you read Lizzie's stuff, I don't know how you blame the repubs unless like Lizzie you are insulted by the very existence of a powerful and decent woman like Sarah...odd way to look at life. Conservatives produce that kind of woman and Sarah is seen as very representative of conservative issues. That's what political representatives are supposed to be.

You seem to see some sort of wrong doing woven into the selection; I don't. I said the day it was announced that it was simply brilliant. Both candidates are declaring their commitment to a discussion on real change... which is great, let's get it on but one aspect of the real change may already be occurring 'neath the phenomenon.
