Since the Gistics' researchers said they were "surprised" by the results, it seems likely that, if they brought any prejudice to the table in the first place, it was against the Mac.

You say "But once up and running they are very similar in down time, very little." A strange assertion given the Gistics results. Here's another article that you might find interesting: avaloncity.com.
