Merely mentioning it is "raking over the coals" and "making a personal attack".

Don't forget "smearing". If a liberal mentioned that Sarah was tall it would be a "smear". But they can say Obama is an uppity black Muslim, non-citizen that didn't register for the draft and hates America and it's not a smear... it's just discussion.
