On her comment? Or on the situation?
On her comment, my opinion is that there are hundreds - thousands - of leaders who are ready and able to lead companies, churches, organizations, even states - who are not ready to lead our country. Not because they don't have leadership qualities, but because they don't have the combination of leadership, intelligence, awareness, empathy, toughness, and the desire - no, need - for knowledge as it pertains to their domain.
Palin does not appear to have this desire for knowledge. She admits to not following events in Iraq. Come on now, even those posting on these boards follow things pretty closely. She doesn't know how FreddieMac and FannyMae work - something that most SIers would ridicule. What else does she not know? How come she's being held so far from those questions?
Sorry, if you meant my opinion on the issue of Freddie/Fanny's bailout, we can also discuss that. Like they said in 'Full Metal Jacket':
