TO ALL: I found this thread, but what I'm really loking for is SONY - plain and simple. Is this the same SONY as the TV one? My reason? Sony is backing WEB-TV due on the shelves next month at $329 - set top box with full internet capabilities and e-mail, etc. In my mind this should be the hit of the Christmas season - but then , just because I think so doesn't mean anything. But this little box will bring the internet to everyone - and I think Americans who don't own a computer will jump at a chance to do what everyone else is doing (surf the net - )Apparently you can hook up in 15 minutes. Sorry if this has already been talked about - I didn't read all the postings - just barged in looking for Sony and found playstation and wrote this. Also - demand from retailers contacted has been higher than expected so apparently production has stepped up.
