So far, short term trading strategies have worked best in this latest market environment. Most energy shares sold off on huge volume today. That would indicate a short term bounce tomorrow, probably started by some short covering. I'm not sure it will mean the bottom is in, but today's price and volume action would usually indicate a nice trading opportunity in the next session or two, then another evaluation to take it from there.
