There is rumored to be two burial mounds north of the Moose Mountain Medicine wheel. virtualsk.com Years ago along the Rainy River between Ontario and Minnesota a prospecting party financed by the Rothschild family found a burial mound with a 6.5 ft tall Indian. Among the treasures inside were some large diamonds and beat copper. They may not have been local diamonds as caves in the Sweetgrass Hills in northern Montana have turned up seashells from the Gulf of Mexico left as offerings. Sorry I have no link to this stuff... but the local libraries in both places have plenty of clippings.
