I do not want Obama as my president. However, the lipstick on a pig comment I did not take in any way as referring to Palin.

I don't think he meant it that way - but even his audience took it that way.

Really, really dumb. The best thing would be for him to apologize but when you're trying to campaign from atop Mt Olympus, that is tough to do.
