Tonight, all eyes will be on Governor Sarah Palin. Let’s make sure the whole nation knows about her awful record on aerial hunting and protecting wildlife. NO, LETS NOT. This is a pitch in the dirt. A fringe issue by a fringe group. If Obama swings at this he is a fool. Stay with the core issues:The environment, Corporate overstepping, the War, the damage reps have done in the past, etc. Don't let anyone - including single-issue voters who may even be on your side - lure you into the high grass. Back in the 60's America was in a special place - mainly due to the civil rights movement and the Vietnam war. The Yippees were a new group in politics. Now the Yippees appeared at a special time in our history - a 'teachable moment' when their message could have taken root and blossomed. But they squandered the moment with the self-indulgence of ever-escalating outrageous behavior. The middle class was turned off - and the opportunity for real change died.
