I do not care how impressive the proposal, I would prefer if fed govt does nothing more with education. The fed govt is so far in debt and will be even worse off in the near future that it strikes me as borderline insane to talk about adding new programs.

I also think Illinois must be way behind on some of these issues. I cannot see how Chicago can be held up as an example as students who transfer here from Chicago are among the worst.
