Not really. A bit of economic slowdown isn't enough to really qualify for "pretty bad shape".

China and Russia wouldn't have to nuke us to destroy us at this point, they'd only have to dump our currency and Treasury Debt.

Nonsense. China and Russia together, or even the whole rest of the world acting in concert to dump treasuries couldn't destroy us.

And any large holder of American debt would be likely to harm themselves more than us by a massive dump of the debt, they would be depressing the value of their own asset.

China (who most people list as their main concern, Russia just doesn't hold enough of the debt) would also cause their exports to America to fall off a cliff, and they would devastate their own economy (and risk their political stability) while only harming ours.
