Is it not the case with respect to XOMA et al., that whether the market overall is in a bull or bear phase is not all that relevant? I.e., where XOMA et al. end up depends primarily upon whether their research and development leads to profit making products, not upon the bullness or bearness of the market overall. At least this is how it seems to me.
