A question I would ask to all the people who are so worked up over inequality, how do they expect, not just now but in the long run, to "pull the bottom up", rather than just pull the top down? Do they actually expect that pulling to top down, makes those at the bottom better off? Why would they think such a thing? They seem to misunderstand the Robin Hood idea of taking from the rich and giving to the poor - Robin Hood was stealing from a government that over taxed the people themselves - not rich folks in general. In capitalist countries a rising tide lifts all boats.
