They are controlling expansion to maintain quality and keep from flooding the market. What other product is sold before it goes out of the factory? Surprisingly, Japan is one of their hottest markets. Many people are paying more than new retail price for used machines rather than wait 12 months for a new one. 200,000 bikes per year by 2003 is not that many bikes for worldwide distribution.
