Mayor Palin and governor Palin partook when it was in her city's and state's best interest. Palin hired a lobbyist for a town with at most, 9 thousand people and got several millions of dollars. From her constituents' point of view, she would not be doing her job if she did not play by the rules for their benefit. Pork and earmarks are there. Congress made it so. It can also unmake it.
