yeah I think the McCain team is "green" or unaware of how common that term is in everyday speech. It would be like if somebody tried to claim some politician was trying to discriminate against rocket scientists because he said something is "not rocket science"... you have to be really stupid to take these common everyday slang terms literally and thats what the McCain staff is doing. They are really out of touch, remember how McCain had no answer for Mac vs PC? Come on. The right wing blogs are trying to call this lipstick pig thing a "macaca moment" which is such an incredible stretch and so ridiculous, that Macaca slur was so overtly racist, it wasn't some common everyday speech kind of thing, etc.
