The latest from Briefing.com: Initial jobless claims for the week ending September 6 totaled 445,000, falling 6,000 week-over-week. The most recent number of claims filed exceeded the 440,000 that were expected. Continuing claims moved upward to 3.52 million. Continuing claims for the prior week were downwardly revised to 3.40 million. And some charts:
