KOAN: are you not aware that bush and vitually every republican pushed for a constitutional ammendment to ban gay marriage in 2004? That issue was used to push Kerry into a corner and probably cost Kerry Ohio and the race.

Carville told Kerry he had to disavow gay mariage and he said he could not in good conscience do that.

Are you not aware of the Harold Fords ads with the blond girl saying "call me harold", many beleive that negative ad cost Ford the senate seat.

It was the conservatives that filabustered for 14 days to prevent the 1964 civil rights act; and later who told the south vote for us and we will not insitute affirmative action.

It was the Republicans that fought and defeated the equal rights ammendemnt for women. MCCain voted against equal pay for equal work for men and women and agaisnt the minumum wage.

It is the Republicans that bust unions and refuse to raise the minimum wage and want to get rid of needed social programs for the old and poor.

Those are all ugle indefensible postions.

Maybe you are in the wrong party?/
