The disintegration of the strong lead is directly correlated with nasty attacks on Sarah Palin. That seems to be dieing down a little and we've all noticed at the end of the feeding frenzy what happened to the lead. There is no denying that now. The momentum is less now that everyone is calming down but you created a Martyr and it may be too late to refocus. Anything could happen though.
