You are not being logical. Of course it is gay bashing. How would you feel if you were not allowed to get married? Would't you feel someone was bashing you? Do you think gays have any different desires to love and marry than you do? Think about it. How would you feel if liberals told you you could not marry?? Would you be OK with that? The rovians know that most people in the country are agaisnt gay marriage, so they force dems to spin the issue. That simple. Gay bashing is exactly the same as racism, just a bit more sophisticated a concept.
