If opposing gay marriage is gay bashing and Obama says he's opposed to gay marriage, is he a gay basher too? Do you think gays have any different desires to love and marry than you do? Most of them don't have a desire to marry, I think. I heard a gay guy on TV saying he didn't get the gay marriage thing. No marriage was one of the good things about being gay, he said. I read something recently that said in Canada where gay marriage had been allowed for awhile, it seemed that about 6% of gays intended to ever marry. Think about it. How would you feel if liberals told you you could not marry?? Would you be OK with that? No, but human societies have always recognized marriage between men and women. Same sex marriage otoh is a radical social change for any society.
