Just as an FYI. Was speaking to my Berkeley college roomate. He now heads up a group at Goldman Sachs IB. He's torn, as am I, but I can at least rationalize his position. The guy makes 8 figures. He thinks Palin is an absolute idiot and totally unqualified. He thinks that Obama is thoughtful and intelligent. However, he's probably going to vote McCain purely on the tax issue. I understand and I can't blame him. A 65% top tax bracket when you roll in state, payroll, local, etc is scary. We both asked ourselves, why couldn't McCain have picked somebody normal?
