come now, that does not stack up. even itty silly alabama has many more people than alaska. of course, we don't get many kickbacks from govt., and we sure don't get any 1200 a piece in our accts cause of oil. we just dumb po folk down here. but govenerning alabama for 2 years would hardly qualify unless the person was exceptionally intelligent and well-learned and interested in the world. palin has shown she has little interest in the world outside of alaska. that's cool. but so be it. but if she truly wants to step out nationally... she can start learning. there are people to run budgets, ya know. i want someone who knows all the stan countries and the history of africa so some understanding of why who all is fighting and why we should or shouldn't bother and how do you deal with south america and how does their history and our history with them make a difference in the talks? and etc. i'm not saying she couldn't do it. but obama has been cramming in this stuff for a couple years now. the reps only to play to the base threw her out there. give her a couple years and who knows. they threw her out to get the base. and left her to hang. in the weeks they've had, she should have known all the answers tonight. their fault. take their paws.
