Mauro,

You have to wait at least for the following events before moving on:

- release of the 64M bit flash by the end of this year (I suspect at Comdex)
- Toshiba signs up Sandisk and pays royalty
- if you wait til 98, then release of 256M bit flash made along with NEC
- in 98, release of flash card containing 16 (if I recall correctly) 256M bit flash modules. This is like 4 Gig of storage and is used to replace the hard disk on your notebook computer.

Those info are from the Sandisk's web site, so I am not guessing.
