I don't care if every president was governor before becoming president. Senators rank higher than governors....... You have repeated for about 5th time, without strengthening a a fairly weak argument you made in one of those posts. The Senate is the most prestigious house in Congress. It makes national legislation that governs the nation....its people and states. It is expected to follow the rule of law and the Constitution. It is imbued with the power to declare war and coin money. It approves the national budget. Senators are most familiar with national policy and foreign diplomacy beside the president. esp. twits like lets-start-a-war-with-Russia Palin of Alaska. Did you hear her answer? Her answer was correct. What? Encouraging Georgia to join NATO so we can start a war with Russia? You all are nuts.
