Indeed, non-partisan fact-checkers have criticized the McCain ad, noting that the legislation didn't teach the birds and bees to kindergartners -- instead it taught "age-appropriate" sex education to help warn children about inappropriate touching and sexual predators. Moreover, although Obama voted for this legislation, he didn't sponsor it and it didn't pass, as the ad implies. This really raises my ire..big time.. Obama has to choose a couple of issues(not implying he should pick this one per se)...that really raise the ire of any reasonable person no matter the party affiliation....and sock it to McCain day in and day out........ But then again, I thought that disdain for lying is a global phenomenon... Our country is so polarized that I don't know what would help....
