Not necessarily. We would have done the same thing if positions were reversed.......Russia playing kiss kiss with Mexico. Putin had been warning for months that the US needs to chill its activities on the border. Bush ignored those warnings and continued to support an idiot president of GA. Russia's move was more about giving a heads up to the US than protecting Russian peacekeepers and S. Ossetians.
