What "Defenders of Wildlife" doesn't tell you is why Gov. Palin approved aerial hunting of wolves. It was for the purposes of protecting human property.
The way DoW put it, however, ALL hunting is cruel to animals. That includes deer, fish, quail, duck, and even groundhogs. What, is it a secret that Sarah Palin is an avid hunter? Give me a break. You know how many Democrats are avid hunters? A lot more than you think.
By the way, I'm a big fan of Animal Planet these days. I just saw a special on the caribou and the wolves who hunt them in Alaska, and I must say, I feel more for the wolves than the caribou. But this smear ad from "Defenders of Wildlife" made me laugh more than cry, because it is such a corny attempt to demonize hunters and pull at the heartstrings of animal lovers everywhere.
Cause you know, we're just slaughtering these wolves for fun, just like Michael Vick does to poor dogs. Oh my freakin' God, get a grip ...
