Sorry, but there was huge national debate in 2002 about this document published by the bush admin...the country was shocked and concerned...I think inode is playing dumb...he knows what it is.

The argument is bogus; she probably didn't know what Gibson meant by it, but neither you nor anyone else did, either. The term has been used loosely, and frankly, the term "doctrine" can be applied to any non-codified law or policy. In the case of the Bush Doctrine, it has been used in numerous contexts. First used by Krauthammer a month after Bush took office, it has had meanings pertaining to the one Gibson cited, as well as several others. Gibson's is not the most commonly thought-of definition.

Gibson may have felt quite smart with his game of gotcha reporting, but it is quite obvious now that Palin came out of the interview in one piece.

I do believe that she looked nervous and that is not good for her as her confidence and self-assuredness is what won the hearts of the American People. But she'll get better with each successive interview, even though they will continue to try to make her look like a fool.

The one thing they can't get past is the fact that she is more qualified than Obama for the job. Fortunately, it just isn't necessary for McCain to be telling us that, as it has become painfully obvious to most people by now.
