You do understand the huge advantage a hunter has against the animal when he is in a plane or truck.

I understand the revulsion against "canned hunting" or hunting from aircraft or other ways to give the hunger a huge advantage. But while I would be very unlikely to hunt that way (even if I did start hunting) I can't really understand the idea that its not just not as fun, not as challenging, or even distasteful, but is actually seriously immoral.

So what if the human has a large advantage, that's the way its supposed to be. We have a large advantage at the slaughterhouse too. Not to many cattle get away at that point. We have a large advantage in hunting even without planes, or shooting animals right after they are released from cages. Firearms are a big advantage all by themselves if you know how to use them, and even many thousands of years ago spears and bows, combined with organization and intelligence (and things like running big game off of cliffs) gave people a huge advantage (and probably resulted in a lot more pain for the game than most modern hunting).

If your going to argue that all killing of animals is immoral and go around waving a PETA banner, well than your at least logically consistent. But I don't think that is your opinion.
