Hi Dwight,

Not such a black Monday after all. It looks like the sell off was more due to interest rate fears than INTC earnings. Watching the business report this morning everyone seems to be making a big deal out of MSFT and IBM earnings. I don't quite get the connection between the earnings of two companies and the entire tech sector. It seems to me that the most reasonable explanation why a big company would have lower revenue is because of competitive pressure not because the entire world decided to stop buying technology related products.

The only thing I can say about Novell insider selling is that they don't seem to work very hard to get the best price for their stock. Being an insider at Novell must not be much of an advantage. The sales took place too early in the quarter to be much of an indication of what earning will be like. The lack of insider buying is getting pretty old though. Although most of them probably bought in at much higher levels, the fact that they keep selling near the low strikes me as a looser type mentality. Not a very good recommendation for vice presidents of a billion dollar company.

Regards,

Don
