I would believe that... AIG is different kind of animals than LEH.. Their derivative book is so hugh that if they go under, every counter parties will have to write down the CDS protection and we have no idea who those institution are.. For all I know, they can be my brokerage house or the clearing firm or whatever. If the yardstick is systematic risk, I think AIG will qualify... Let's see if JPM has any magic
