I thought about posting that yesterday just to be a bit provocative. :)

Palin most definitely did try to pretend to know what it was. She tried a long bs answer to it. I even posted yesterday that I would have respected her more had she said, I don't know how it's defined, explain and I'll tell you.
Admitting you don't know something is a strength.

If Gibson didn't know, it's ok with me. He isn't trying to be VP. She should have been able to explain it to HIM. Obviously Krauthammer could have.

Those glasses keep getting brought up.
They're reading glasses for heaven's sake. He is using a written guide for that interview, and he has them positioned so that he can glance down, read his notes, and then look up and see her clearly. I know a LOT of choir members who use them to see the music and then glance over them to the director. He isn't being disdainful.

Palin has no indepth grasp of the politics of the last eight years. It's very obvious. Her interest was her family, her town, and then the state. Whether the Peter Principle is now in effect is what we are trying to ascertain.

I for one am not out to GET Palin. But question her abilities and her readiness-- and by that, McCain's choice of her? Absolutely.
