Steve

It is a while 'til the election, but these guys are in trouble.

The electoral count map at rcp for the first time has McCain in the lead:

realclearpolitics.com

And that is still counting OH as a toss-up, where McCain has a fairly good lead ow at 2.2 points and Virginia where McCain is up by 2.6. Should McCain win these two states, it is hard to see how Obama pulls this thing out.

Even tejerk's beloved WA state is a 2-point race according to Rasmussen on the 10th. Even NJ is a 3-pont race now.

These guys are in trouble. Not saying they cannot pull it out, but if one assumes that the facts are going to come out about Obama's extremism, the McCain win could turn into Secretariat.
