Palin implies that she turns down earmarks in her "thanks but no thanks". Does she follow that up with "but we spent the money anyway"?

I doubt that objective observers view that as a bad thing. Any reasonable person would say it is sensible to refuse to spend money wastefully, while redirecting it to where you think it would do the most good.
