<PS Mark Faber sent out an alert on Fri stating that the USD was short term overbought and gold short term oversold. He had been long the USD> The tide is turning, I hope. Faber has been ST bearish on the commodities plays. I'm looking for an easing during Fed talk this Tuesday. Inflation is down, dollar is up, unemployment up, and the elections are just on the horizon.<BWDIK> A family relative in the financial/credit industry told me he heard rumours that the Fed may bail out American citizens and the credit card industry by reducing interest rates on credit cards. I don't know exactly how that would work IF it's true.<FWIW>
