That is the problem. A very smart man is so over confident of himself that he thinks his way is the best. Experience tells us that theory is many times different from the real world.

I can only look at this logically. Up until the Palin pick, Obama was ahead in the polls. As soon as McCain picked Palin.......within days.......everything changed. Either that change is temporary or Americans were looking for an excuse not to vote for Obama. Nothing else explains such a 180º turn. Certainly, Obama didn't change in such a short period of time.

So then, if this is not a temp. phenomenon, then the problem is the American electorate, not Obama.
