That's a silly, provocative, insulting, and erroneous personal take, unworthy of a thoughtful person such as yourself.

No, it definitely wasn't very nice. And I wasn't comfortable with thinking let alone posting it. But it attributes to her a POV that I know exists because I spend a lot of time here on SI arguing against it and it would explain her comments. Plus I'm at a loss to come up with any more flattering explanation. The prevailing one seems to be that she is so stupid and ignorant that she thinks Iraq was behind 9/11.

So, what do you think she meant by those comments upon Track's unit's departure? Can you offer an alternative explanation, something less unattractive?
