That's a silly, provocative, insulting, and erroneous personal take, unworthy of a thoughtful person such as yourself. No, it definitely wasn't very nice. And I wasn't comfortable with thinking let alone posting it. But it attributes to her a POV that I know exists because I spend a lot of time here on SI arguing against it and it would explain her comments. Plus I'm at a loss to come up with any more flattering explanation. The prevailing one seems to be that she is so stupid and ignorant that she thinks Iraq was behind 9/11. So, what do you think she meant by those comments upon Track's unit's departure? Can you offer an alternative explanation, something less unattractive? "...what she specifically said was that Track and his cohorts were going to be fighting "the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans.""
